COBRA and The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

On March 19, 2009 the Department of Labor issued model notices.  Below are our notices that are currently used in production that are based on the DOL Model Notices.  Please keep in mind that the notices below are SAMPLE notices.  The actual notice sent out may be different depending on the needs and characteristics of each client.

• Notice issued to Qualified Beneficiaries who did not elect COBRA  coverage and now may be eligible to elect coverage and receive a premium subsidy.

• Notice issued to Qualified Beneficiaries who are currently covered by COBRA and now may be eligible to receive a premium subsidy

• Notice issued to all new Qualified Beneficiaries going forward.
